  1. Unfortunately, I’m a poor Third-Worlder like you, my friend. But as soon as I’m in Europe, early next year, I’ll be able to do something for you. Wait and see.

    • I am sure I may look a little paranoid about the dollar crash, but I remember perfectly the several devaluations of the Mexican peso in 1976, 1982 and 1994. It always happened abruptly: everything was running smoothly on say a Monday and black Tuesday cut your savings by half.

The peso is backed by the dollar. If the Fed with its new 2014 chairman will be doing exactly the same of Bernanke—printing like crazy to pay the interests of the trillions they owe to China—black Tuesday will be even worse: the dollar might lose up to 90 percent of its current value or more.

This means immediate chaos, and a city like Mexico—with more than 20 million of browns who, like the film Elysium, cry to break into relatively safe neighborhoods like the one I happen to live in—will make a film like Escape from NY look like a picnic.

If the dollar crashes my chances are poor, even to escape the city (flights would cost 1000 percent of its current cost and no European country would accept refugees). That’s why I must escape before it happens. I am not afraid of poverty or even homelessness (surprisingly, after the 1929 crash the white Americans behaved pretty civilly; Negroes were still ghettoized). I am afraid that hungry and angry browns after the collapse will make it impossible even to leave your home trying to obtain some bread for your table…
